throughout procedures completed.
Polychrome Materials
We carry out the consolidation, cleaning and in-painting of polychrome surfaces on various media such as wood,
plaster, canvas, paper, stone, metal and other supports.
Paint Finishes
We have considerable experience in exposing original paint schemes from beneath over-layers of paint, or obscuring
layers of discoloured varnish. Retouching can be carried out on any scale project, either to blend with the original
or to remain as an obvious restoration, dependent on clients requirements. Any new areas applied are based
on relevant evidence from research, thus enabling the appropriate recreation of marbling, wood graining, wall paper
designs or colour matching of original paint finishes. An isolating layer can be applied before the restoration
is carried out, thus allowing the true aesthetic quality of the finish to be reinstated, whilst preserving any
remaining original material.
Records and Documentation
Full digital records and documentation can be provided.
